Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Lots of new snow today. New 6-10" of snow sluffing easily along steep sections, acting more slab like as the elevation got higher. Winds had built 12" slabs at higher elevations. Winds had shifted to the opposite direction (from the northeast) late in the afternoon. Felt one good whumpf on ski back down through trees.
