Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

We saw this avalanche while driving back from Andesite Ridge. We could not tell what triggered it or exactly when it happened from the road. A guided group touring in Donner Canyon zone noted that they did not see the avalanche this morning so it may have happened sometime today. There were tracks on the looker's right side of the avalanche.
