This slide looks to have occurred in one of the steep chutes behind Sugarbowl Academy. The biggest slide in this area occurred in the "Poop Chute" a 38-40 degree, N-NE facing, wind-loaded gully. Several other natural avalanches occurred in similar terrain on Donner Peak.
