More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Was skiing at Mt Rose Ski Area and had noted envious ski tracks across on Mt Rose.  At about 2:30 pm looking at same area noted this slide that appeared to be a natural wet slide having a defined point release.  Did not see any ski tracks in the area prior to the slide. Temperature at car at 3 pm was noted to be low 40's.
