In the Olympic Valley area this morning, the snow turned to rain at around 7:15am. By 8:30 natural wet loose slides were observed in steep terrain. These slides entrained a significant amount of storm snow and several reached D2 size. 1 slide steped down to a slab failure approx 30cm down into the recent storm snow and propagated approx 25' wide.
