Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Much deeper snowpack in the Mt. Judah area than other regions of our forecast area. The basal facet layer here doesn't seem to present much of a problem at least at my pit location and that seems to match up with past observations in the area as well.  Large variety of surface riding conditions out there depending on aspect.  Everything from nice wind drifted powder, dust on crust, punchy breakable crusts underneath the new snow.
