Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Evidence of rain all the way up to the summit at 9,170'. Stable snowpack at all elevations with mainly rain wetted old snow below 8,000'. Wet new snow above 8,000' with up to 4 inches new above 8,200'. Widespread skier triggered roller balls 6 to 12 inches in diameter in the 8,500' down to 8,200' elevation range. Slabs up to 5 inches deep on the summit above 9,100' were well bonded to the rain crust at their base. Ski cuts on steep convex test slopes produced no results.
