More detailed information about the snowpack:

The bonds within the new snow layer seems to be gaining strength.  All CT's were in the moderate range and no propagation occurred with the ECT's.  The new snow/old snow surface bond in strong, there were some facets below this old m/f crust but that interface was not reactive in any of the stability tests.  Skied and watched others ski and snowmobile on many avalanche slopes today in the N-NW aspects with no results seen, some sluffing in the steeper terrain >35 degrees.

Photo: Surface hoar 3-6mm in size on all aspects below 8000', some patchy sections up higher where protected from the NE winds.  Surface hoar still visible in the early afternoon hours even on south facing terrain.
