Observations from Ward Canyon and Grouse Rock area.  Saw some old crowns and lots of cornice failures from the last storm cycle >36hours ago along the Sierra Crest and below.  Skiing conditions have improved over the last couple days on protected north facing slopes.  Had consistent moderate to hard CT results on the main density change within the storm snow and above the rain crust, no propagation results from the ECT.  Upside down snowpack(heavy over lighter) is still present but not nearly as dramatic as 2 days ago.
