Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Pit dug below treeline adjacent to or very near pits from Dec 27,Dec 20, and several others earlier in the season. Oct 19 layer was very faceted and very unstable in this area earlier in the season. It is now almost impossible to discern. This layer has rounded and assimilated with the snow layer above. Snowpack is now very stable in this area.
