More detailed information about the snowpack: 

This pit dug adjacent to my pit from 2009-12-18.  Basal facets showing more strength, although still reactive to CT's in the moderate range.  PST results show that propagation is not likely on this layer if initiated, although just barely over the 1/2 way mark.  This pit location was the only spot in this area where I have found the 10/19 facet layer to be observable.
