More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Pic: after wallowing through the trees it was great to get to a more supportive snowpack, but boot pen here was 90cm!

Some signs of settlement observed - very early stages of settlement cones on trees. Still tough skinning, though.

I ski cut the skin track several times with no results, and hand pits showed stable snow, with the exception of easy shears of poor quality just above the 2nd deep density change - noted in pit at 67cm.

Ski cutting pillows on descent produced no results.
