Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Several inches of settlement in the snowpack over the last 24 hours. Most areas now have 2.5-3ft deep snowpack. Wind continues to transport snow and some of the more exposed areas have more slab characteristics than in un-wind-affects area. Some the weaknesses that formed in the storm snow are still present but they are quickly consolidating. An old crust and some weak sugary snow do exist in some locations near the base of the snowpack.
Most test slopes in the area did not show any signs of instablity. A few small (1-3 ft long) cracks did occur on one 38 degree, NE facing, wind-loaded test slope.
