More detailed information about the snowpack:

Significant wind scouring has taken pace here over the last month. Anchors like rocks, logs, stumps, and trees abound. Most of the these anchors still protrude through the snowpack. In more shelter areas on the northerly aspects some soft faceted snow exists on patches of the snow surface.

Photo !: Northerly slopes near Tinkers Knob where some snow exists.

Photo 2: Southerly aspects near Castle Peak where almost no snow exists.
