More detailed information about the snowpack: 

N-NE-E winds have scoured away much of the snow that once existed on the northerly aspects in the Ralston Peak area. This scouring left behind lots of exposed rocks and patches of bare ground. A mix of shallow faceted snow, wind scoured crusts and snow surfaces, a few isolated hard wind packed slabs, and bare ground existed on the northerly aspects in this area.
