Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

A few small wind slabs existed on the test slopes north of the summit. Skier loading on the slab did not produce cracking or any other evidence of instability. ECT indicated likely fracture propagation, but it is not a well proven test for hard slab conditions (very well proven test for soft slab conditions). No evidence of slab formation or instability below treeline. Very good bonding of January 30 storm snow to pre storm crust surface in all areas traveled.
