Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Good overall refreeze of the upper melt freeze crust overnight on SE-SW aspects.  This m/f crust softened by midday and provided good spring like corn snow conditions with some sticky surface snow in the early afternoon below 7500'.  Shaded aspects had a firm glazed crust between 7000-9000' with different degrees of supportability in some areas.  Noticable amount of snowmelt off of ridges and rocky terrain with south aspects over the last couple weeks with lots of dirt/rocks showing in these areas.
