More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Large surface hoar up to 4cm in open areas on all aspects from parking lot to ridgelines. In any areas of closed canopy tree cover, surface hoar was absent. In open sun exposed areas on southerly aspects and flats, surface hoar was destroyed by 11am. On cold northerly aspects around 1pm, surface hoar showed no signs of becoming destroyed.
