More detailed information about the snowpack: 

High density wind affected snow surface on all NE-E-SE aspects traveled between 8,400' and 9,400' with the exception of dense trees very low on the peak. No evidence of instability observed in this area in near treeline and below treeline terrain traveled. Some ongoing wind transport, but no deposition in avalanche start zones.
