Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Snow surface melting observed in all directly sun exposed areas up to tour highpoint of 8,000'. Free water in anywhere from the top 4 to 10cm depending on aspect and slope angle. Cold, unmelted hard wind slabs in near treeline terrain on N aspects without direct sun exposure. ECTP result cannot be ignored, but the ECT does not seem to handle hard slabs well. PST 100/100 result seems more in line with informal observations.
