Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

10-14'' of settled storm snow from the Wed-Friday storm cycle in this area.  Strong solar radiation midday as the clouds opened up, by mid afternoon clouds increased and temps cooled off.  Wet snow instabilities were limited in this area today.  

Photo #1:  Past natural wind slab avalanche in Echo East Bowl, 8700'.  Several natural avalanches in this area all thought to have occured late Thursday/early Friday and partially covered up.
