Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

pit: several weak layers of NSF in between crusts. Still no signs of propagation. Few pockets of recent snow over previous rain crust.

pic 1: appx 40 degree slope angle, 70 degree aspect (just above pit). Weak facets under crust, but still no slab development.

pic 2: spring-like broken cloud cover = strong solar inputs with reduced radiation loss (note warm surface temps on NE aspect from pit). Several graupel showers observed throughout day, with a thin layer accumulating ~.5cm by mid afternoon.
