More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Very good snowpack stability observed in this area today on N-NE-E aspects both above and below treeline. Any slab formation was very small, isolated, and limited to areas along ridgetops. Moderate speed W winds were wrapping around the peak and lightly scouring the very top portion of N aspect avalanche start zones along the east ridge (photo). Relative weak layers that exist within the snowpack near crusts are still not showing any signs of likely propagation.
