More detailed information about the snowpack: 

 Mid day breakable crust - difficult to ski. The light winds promoted convective cooling and the partial cloud cover prevented the melt freeze crust from melting to any skiable extent. Presence of rounded to faceted grains under Melt Freeze crust suggested future potential concern of a faceting process promoting instablility concern within the snowpack near Tamarack lake at approx. 9300 feet.
