More detailed information about the snowpack: 

compresion test of ct2 and ct7 Q2  @ 8100'  about 100 feet below saddle in trees just before the steeper roll over, on 32 deg. pitch.

failed on facets on janurary crust, 60 cm from ground, 115cm total snowpack  Also, when isolating my column, while sawing, the wedge just dropped out at same spot.

then went up a little higher to west and above saddle with more wind loading, and had no results

skied 3 runs, stayed away from obvious triggers and convex rollovers.  Out of dozens of tests on carson pass area the last 4 days, this was the lowest result we've had anywhere. Thought this might be relavant info, for whatever it's worth  Thanks for your work
