More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Skied a steeper ridge on the lower ridge in Deep Creek.  Pin on map is pretty accurate.

Wind loading from yesterday deposited about 8 inches onto slope of 35 to 38 degrees.   Small slab pocket released and sluffed behind dogs and skier. No propogation of more snow or deep layers, only entrainment of new surface snow which ran further than expected, about 200 - 300 feet and deposited about 1 to 1.5 feet deep.
