More detailed information about the snowpack:

Dust on crust conditions in Deep Creek.  The recent rain crust is firm and ski supportive but not boot supportive in all areas.  Facets are present just below the recent rain crust but are not showing any signs of propagation at this point.  Something to monitor as we hope for more snow in the future.

Photo#1:  Minimal new snow on top of a firm rain crust with facets below the rain crust.

Photo#2:  Thin snow coverage on south aspects with bare dirt and rocks.
