Interesting pit results on E aspect of Tamarack Peak, Proletariat Bowl. Near crust facet layer failing and propagating repeatedly in ECTs with Q3 shear quality. The slope is covered in ski tracks with no other signs of instability. The strength of the overlying slab seems to be preventing weak layer collapse on a slope scale.

Similar to other portions of the Mount Rose area, snow surfaces on E-SE-S-SW-W aspects above 8,600' were undergoing the first post storm melt freeze cycle today.
