More detailed information about the snowpack: 

The snowpack in this area on ESE-S aspects below 8,000' is well established in melt freeze cycles at this time. Old near crust facet layers are rounding and sintering at all heights of the shallow snowpack on these aspects at this elevation. No weak layers found in snowpit tests.

At 11:45am, 1 inch of wet snow existed on top of supportable rain crust/melt-freeze crust in this area. Shaded areas on the same slopes remained frozen at that time.
