Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Snowpit dug near snowpit from March 22 to look at near crust facets that showed likely propagation at that time. Over the past 4 days, significant improvements in stability have occurred in this area with tests indicating propagation on that layer is now very unlikely (ECTN, PST 100%).

A decent snow surface refreeze occurred in this area last night. Brief sun breaks were occurring in this area between light snow showers today, causing some snow surface melting. At 12:30pm, up to 1.5 inches of wet snow existed on the surface over supportable melt-freeze crust on E-SE-S aspects between 8,600' and 9,000'. N-NE aspects traveled between 8,600' and 9,500' remained frozen. Only a trace of new snow accumulation was visible in limited areas.
