More detailed information about the snowpack:

Observed widespread surface hoar on grouse ridge today from the base all the way to the ridgeline from 3-10mm in size in any place without thick tree cover. Noticed layers that were soaked a couple days ago starting to freeze in the snowpack. Areas with previous weak 1F and P hard crust layers before the rain event are now showing K hard crusts.  ECTX on the top 80cm of the snowpack and 2 CTH SC results failing right below the lowest crust at 22cm.
