More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Supportable snow on solar aspects well into the afternoon from 6,800 to 9,000ft, even under dense tree cover. Borderline melt-freeze cycle below ridgetop, more distinct near and below treeline.

Pic and video: Strong E winds stripping snow from N,NE,E aspects though no significant re-deposition was observed. Firm crust becoming exposed on today's windward slopes.
