Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

New snow amounts in this area of up to 5 cm around mid day. Light N winds were not transporting snow. No wind loading observed.  Dec 24 crust in this area was very thin and well bonded, much different than the thick rain crust (~10cm) found further north. Crust was most likely formed by wet snow in this area rather than by rain. No evidence of instability observed either through informal observations or snowpit data.
