Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Observations and snowpit data showed a snowpack that continues to consolidate. Ski cuts on steep test slopes, general observations, and snowpit data did not reveal any signs of instability. The surface snow remained soft and cold. Snowpit tests showed good bonding within the snowpack and that snowpack continues to gain strength. Near the summit of Hidden Peak the east winds had left firm wind scoured/packed surfaces on some N-NE-E aspects. Below 7000 ft. skiers could still feel the crust under the new snow during turns.
