Localized low cloud cover over donner summit overnight prevented a solid refreeze.  By 930a clouds had cleared and S facing slopes had approx 2-3 cm of non-corn slush on a supportable crust.  By 10a sun exposed snow in the meadow below Anderson Ridge/Mt Judah had boot-top-deep penetration, while E facing slopes had 10+ cm sticky and barely supportable slush, and evidence of natural but isolated medium size roller ball activity from yesterday on SE aspects below rocks.  Slightly more NE facing slopes still held firmer more supportable corn-like slush, with some small skier triggerd roller balls on steeper aspects.  More southerly facing slopes had a 2-3cm non-supportable crust by 1030a, while SW slopes above treeline held firmer snow at 1100a.

Photo 1 is E facing penetration at approx 945a.  Photo 2 is E facing collapsing skin track at 10a.
