Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Unconsolidated snow exists on northerly aspects throughout this area with minor wind effect on more exposed terrain.  On solar aspects a variety of sun crusts and wind crusts exist with different levels of supportability.  Snowpit work showed a well bonded and deep snowpack.  Light southwest winds were blowing along ridges and peaks with no visible signs of moving snow.
