Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

New snowfall varied from 15-53cm depending on elevation and wind effect. Mitt pits showed a developing wind slab, but mostly 4F-F without obvious slab layer. 4 ECTNs with moderate Q2-3 failures down 12-16cms, these test pits were done at 8700', 9100', 9200' and 9400' on N and NE aspects. 1 ECTP at the old new interface at 9400' suggested possible NCF formation.

Limited shooting cracks, one whumph, no witnessed avalanches. Ski cuts and cornice stomping at the ridgetop showed fragile cornices and stubborn wind slabs- less touchy than we expected!
