More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Tour in Andesite Peak area, 7000' to 8200', SE thru N aspects.

Excellent ski conditions on steeper N terrain. Snow unreactive to slope cuts even on steep convexities. No wind slabs observed.

A soft sun crust (~1cm thick) overlying moist snow was observed on SW thru E and in open low angle terrain.

Ski Pen. 20 cm, Boot Pen. 50 cm. HS >320cm, HST 15cm, Surf: MFcr (S thru E aspects), + PP (N thru NE). Surface snow was cold and unconsolidated on N thru NE aspects.

~15cm of light snow fell in the Castle Peak area before 10am 12/25. That was followed by a day of sunny skies and calm winds.
