More detailed information about the snowpack:

Gale force winds on ridges and at the summit of Waterhouse this afternoon. Significant snow transport in open areas. The skin track was nearly a foot deep in places but would disappear b/c of wind scouring and wind deposited snow in open exposed areas.

35 - 45 cms new snow near summit but amounts varied widely depending on location relative to wind transport.

Still relatively thin snow cover at lower elevations. Difference between snow depth near 9400 summit and near 8000 is impressive.
