More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Full cloud cover continued through today with well above freezing temperatures.  No overnight freeze in this area with punchy and wet surface snow.  Above 8200, with the right combination of previous wind scoured snow and light current SW winds, there were some supportable snow conditions to be had.  Although most snow conditions were soft, wet, and unsupportable snow that was slow, sticky and sticky.  Small roller balls were common on steeper terrain but no signs of any larger loose wet avalanches were observed.  Full cloud cover with light SW winds were keeping the loose wet avalanche problem to a minimum.
