More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Above 8500' in this area had mostly ski supportable spring type snow conditions on E-SE-S aspects.  There were small skier triggered loose wet activity in the late morning hours.  Below 8500', snow was wet, heavy, sticky and slow.  Roller ball activity was widespread on slopes 30-35 degrees in steepness.  At 8000' and below at 11:30am the snow became unsupportable, with ski pen of 6-8'' and boot pen knee deep.  Temperatures were warm with very calm winds.
