More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Last night's weak refreeze completely melted by noon on the various aspects of Prosser hill below 7100 ft leaving deep wet unsupportable snow on the slopes. Ski penetration into the deep wet snow on S aspects around 7000 ft. at noon was about 6 to 7 inches and boot penetration was knee deep. Before the refreeze melted there was a brief window of time when more supportable spring snow conditions existed. On the E-SE-S aspects, the supportable conditions disappeared by 10:30-11 am and on the SW-W-NW aspects they lasted till closer to noon.
