More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Mix of rain and snow during afternoon at Relay Peak. Cloud level dropped to around Tahoe Meadows, causing poor viz above this elevation. Although surface snow was mostly soft due to lack of overnight refreeze and warm, sunny morning, no significant afternoon warming or signs of Wet Loose instabilities were observed. Previous snowmobile tracks remained firm. No new accumulation observed.
