More detailed information about the snowpack:

Light snow showers throughout the morning on the West Shore with potentially below forecasted amounts.  Strong to gale force ridge winds were moving large amounts of snow with limited visibility.  Winds were swirling below treeline with wind effected surface snow at lower elevations in normally protected terrain.  The recent storm snow has begun to settle and gain strength with little signs of storm slab instabilities in protected below treeline terrain.  The W winds were loading areas and scouring others that are slightly different than our traditional SW wind pattern.  No other signs of instabilities were observed today.
