Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Moderate amounts of blowing snow existed above treeline on Incline Lake Peak. Blowing snow plumes were visible off of the summits of above treeline surrounding peaks. New wind slab formation up to 30 cm (1 foot) deep was limited and difficult to trigger. No test slope failure occurred and cracking was limited to previously undercut areas. A test pit dug in a wind pillow at the noted lat/long (N aspect, above treeline, 9,520') revealed ECTN results on wind slabs in the top 60 cm (2 feet) of the snowpack.

Some isolated natural roller ball activity occurred on E and SE aspects during the sunny morning hours prior to the onset of 100% cloud cover and snow showers at mid day.
