More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snowcover limited to northerly aspects and some east aspects above 7,400' in this area. Snow cover deepens significantly around 8,000'. Anchors in traditional avalanche start zones negated by snowcover. Snowpit data collected at 8,000' on N aspect indicated that significant rain had fallen on the snowpack during recent storms. No signs of problematic weak layer formation.
