More detailed information about the snowpack:

Dug 2 snowprofiles at different elevation ranges to examine the basal facet layer in this area.  At both locations, basal facets were moist and showed signs of rounding.  ECT and PST snowpack tests did not show that propagation was likely on this weak layer at both locations.  Overall coverage is good above 9000' with 3'+ of snow.  Warm temperatures and previous sunny skies have formed crusts on most southern aspects.  Unconsolidated snow still exists on northerly aspects above 9000' with lower elevations and east aspects starting to transition.
