More detailed information about the snowpack:

Consistent light rain showers throughout the day.  Approximately 2' of mostly supportable snow above 8200'.  Below 8000', snowpack depths fall off quickly to bare ground.  The snowpack in this area has seen a lot of rain over the last week and is made up of mostly wet snow grains.  Some very minor roller balls were observed off of steeper rocky terrain with no other signs of instabilities in the area.
