More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Recent rain evident on all aspects up to and visually beyond the highpoint of travel around 9,700'. Wet snow was skier supportable on all aspects, but becoming fairly deep on E-SE-S aspects. Signs of minor loose wet instability existed but was mainly limited to human triggered roller balls. Photo shows the maximum amount of wet snow instability observed.

Snowpit data collected on a N aspect at 9,540' (mapped lat/long) indicated increasing snowpack stability and little to no signs of problematic deep instability.
