More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Below 7000 ft. little to no snow existed in this area. Patchy snow coverage existed between 7000 and 7500 ft. Above 7500 ft. coverage became more consistent with 30 to 70 cm (1-2 ft.) of wet snow in most areas. Hand pits and general observations showed a well-bonded snowpack consisting of crusts and wet snow. Observations did not receive any signs of instabilities.
